KALCEY.TTC JOURNAL: Battling PCOS 2016 With Diet & Exercise

Hey Cyters & friends,

Today was a rainy day here in Jamaica, which I welcomed due to the fact that it's very hot here. Anyhow, I just want to share with you all my plans for this year regarding TTC and battling PCOS. To be honest, I really never had this planned for this year but due to how our government has asked of us the women of Jamaica to refrain from conceiving within the next six to twelve months to avoid the serious effect of ZikV, I was forced to turn such news into something positive.
If you are one of my YouTube subscribers, you might already know IVF is in my future plan which will most likely be next year. So with all that said regarding TTC, I must now share with you what I intend to do while refraining from TTC.

So, my plan this year regarding  battling PCOS is to lose the weight. Yes my friend!! I have some shedding to do!! Yes!! Its not going to be an easy task but I am willing to make an effort. Yep!! It is very important I lose the weight which my doctors think is affecting my efforts tremendously. Therefore I have decided that I will:
  • Reduce my Carbohydrates/Sugar intake
  • Reduce my food portion
  • Exercise at least 4x/week for 20-30 mins
  • Increase my water intake
  • Consume more fruits and vegetables
  • Stress less

I officially started dieting Jan 30, 2016 but at this moment I don't have a goal weight. As time goes by I will think about it, but at this moment I just want to see the pounds going down. Below you can have a look at some of my meals consumed in the past few day.

Curry chick peas

I used my green juice remains to make my omelet

baked chicken, steam veg and curry chick peas

Baked tomatoes with egg inside, topped with cheese and a glass of green juice

My fav....banana and oats smoothie.....taste really great.

Thanks for stopping by...Stay strong, take care and see you again.
Bye!!☺
